Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) also known as NDIS Therapy Assistants, with their extensive training and experience, are here to provide essential support and assistance, working closely with your occupational therapist to ensure you receive the best possible care.

Assist with Occupational Therapy Programs:
Our AHAs follow the guidance of your supervising occupational therapist to implement effective therapy programs tailored to your needs and help with your Functional Capacity Assessment.
Self-Care Retraining Programs:
We assist with implementing self-care retraining programs, helping you regain independence in daily activities.
Equipment Provision and Demonstration:
Our team, under delegation of your OT, orders, provides, and demonstrates a range of essential equipment, from mobility aids to adaptive tools, to support your therapy and daily living needs.
Joint Home Visits:
We accompany your occupational therapist on home visits when the assistance of a second staff member is required, ensuring comprehensive support and a more thorough assessment of your needs.
Positioning and Splinting Regimes:
Our AHAs follow through with positioning and splinting regimes as your occupational therapist prescribes to enhance your recovery.
Energy Conservation and Safety Advice:
Based on your occupational therapist's recommendations, we provide advice on energy conservation, fall prevention, hip precautions, and personal alarms.
Continued Therapy Programs:
Yakini Therapy Group, NDIS Therapy Assistants continues therapy programs as directed by your occupational therapist, ensuring consistency and progress.
Assist in Joint Treatment Sessions:
We assist in joint treatment sessions where a second staff member is needed, enhancing the effectiveness of your allied health Program.
Activity Groups:
